As an ICU Nurse, you'll care for critically ill patients who need close monitoring and fast, skilled intervention. You'll manage ventilators, drips, and invasive lines, track subtle changes in condition, and work side by side with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists. • Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
• Current ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification may be required prior to the first shift.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an ICU RN (most recent experience within the last year).
• EPIC and Meditech experience required.
• Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care.
• Must show competency with managing ventilators, chest tubes, and proning patients.
• Strong familiarity with assisting during intubation, central and arterial line placement, and para/thoracentesis.
• Experience with Covid ICU protocols, CRRT and/or ECMO are a plus.
