Shift description

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
  • Current AWHONN and NRP certifications required.
  • Current STABLE certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an L&D RN (most recent experience within the last year).
  • High risk experience required.
  • Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
  • Strong assessment skills surrounding pregnancy and labor including high risk cases.
  • Must show competency with infant stabilization and electronic fetal heart monitoring and interpretation.
